Sakonnet Preservation’s 50th Anniversary Celebration will take place on Saturday, July 16, 2022, with cocktails, dinner, and dancing in the meadows overlooking Lloyd’s Beach. Tickets to the event are $500 each for Patron seating, $250 each for Standard seating, and $75 for dessert and dancing only.
You are receiving these options because your contribution to the Campaign came from a charitable fund. Please note, donations from donor-directed charitable funds or trusts may not be eligible to receive free or discounted tickets. Such funds state that we are not allowed to provide goods or services in exchange for your gift.
You may elect to purchase tickets to the event in the following manner, which is tax-deductible except for the $120 fair market value (FMV) of each ticket:
- Pay the full cost of the ticket(s) from a personal account ($250 for Standard seating and $500 for Patron seating).
OR pay with a combination from a personal account (i.e. check or credit card) and charitable fund contribution.
- Pay $120 per ticket from a personal account (fair market/face value of the ticket) and direct your charitable fund to send an additional donation for the difference between $120/ticket & the list price of your desired seating ($130/ticket for Standard seating and $380/ticket for Patron seating). Neither transaction is tax-deductible.
Example 1: to purchase 2 Patron seating tickets ($500 value each), you could pay $240 from a personal account and direct your charitable fund to send an additional $760 to SPA. To purchase a 10-person table of Patron seating, you would pay $1,200 from a personal account, and direct your charitable fund to donate an additional $3,800.
Example 2: to purchase 2 Standard seating tickets ($250 value each), you could pay $240 from a personal account and direct your charitable fund to send an additional $260. To purchase a 10-person table of Standard seating, you would pay $1,200 from a personal account, and direct your charitable fund to donate an additional $1,300.
